openBC Meet Zürich: "In Switzerland there are openBC events at least every week. In Zürich alone there are about 2/3 openBC events happening every month. On 29th November 2005 at 7pm the 'openBC Zürich Dinner with a speech on Business Etiquette' was held at the Hotel Engimatt. The event was organised by Thomas Kappauf who is a part of  the openBC Meet Zürich. These events are a fabulous opportunity to meet and get to know virutal contacts in a relaxed atmosphere. The speech delved into the realm of business etiqutte and how important it is to maintain respect, achieve social acceptance and open doors of opportunity.
Mr. Kappauf carried out some interviews, among them were:
Alfonso von Wunschheim: Download interview_3.wmv
Dr. Peter Fischer: Download interview_4.wmv
There is also a short film of the event showing just how enjoyable these events are, please click here to view the film: Download OpenBCzuerich.wmv "

Handbuch Low Budget Marketing: "Durchaus empfehlenswert!
 Handbuch Low Budget Marketing
 Autor: Malte Jablonski
 Erscheinungsdatum: 1. Auflage November 2005
 Preis: 49,00 Euro
Unsere Meinung: Gutes und aktuelles Buch zum Thema Low Budget Marketing
 Inhalt:

Cool VS 2005 Debugging Visualizers for ASP.NET 2.0 Development: "One of the cool new features in VS 2005 is a debugging extensibility feature called 'Debugger Visualizers'.  Basically this provides a way for developers to build and use UI extensions within the VS debugger that provide richer data visualization and analysis of types and variables within a running program.
K. Scott Allen published a cool sample today of an ASP.NET control graph visualizer that allows you to obtain a graph of a server control and its children.  Simply hover over a 'this' (in C#) or 'Me' (in VB) reference on your page while in the debugger, and you'll be able to see the entire server control hierarchy for your page while on a breakpoint in the debugger:
A quick search on the web also found this cool Regex Debugging Visualizer by Roy Osherove:
As well as really cool ASP.NET Cache Visualizer by Brett Johnson (for seeing what is currently in the ASP.NET Cache Object):
And this really cool ASP.NET Control Visualizer by Brett as well that lets you obtain what the html output of a server control will look like:
And Howard van Rooijen's really cool XML Visualizer:
All of the above visualizers are free (and most ship the source code).  Definitel"

Blonde Joke : Anatomy of a Meme: "One of the most popular post here on my blog, and definitely most popular outgoing link, is this Blonde Joke (by the way, check it out if you don’t know it, it’s really a pretty good one)
The amount of traffic it’s been receiving over the last two weeks is pretty unexpected and relatively insane. My friend h0bbel whom I’m linking to in this post got so many hits on his posts that it almost brought his server down to its knees. Seriously, Blonde Joke Effect > Digg Effect :)
Someone with way too much free time spent a few hours digging through search engines and made up a graph of no less than 401 interconnected blonde jokes (graph and explanation on his site). Another futile and necessary study, someone had to do it :)

Yahoo Widgets: "Yahoo has done a good job emulating the Mac's Dashboard widgets with its own Yahoo Widgets. (Yahoo bought Konfabulator to get its Widget engine.) They even look cool like the Mac ones do. But, Yahoo is not doing a good job helping us to find them. For example, there are 186 widgets in the System Utilities folder on the Web site, and 276 in the Fun and Games category. Then there are nine more categories. That's too much to browse, even if you set it to show 25 at a time.
How about taking a page from Firefox Extensions and offer listings by most popular and highest rated? Or, heaven forbid, do we need a meta-Widget? [Tags: yahoo widgets macintosh firefox]"

Semapedia: "What do you get when you combine Semacode and Wikipedia? Why, Semapedia of course. The project is the brainchild of Alexis Rondeau and Stan Wiechers, and basically what they encourage you to do is to place place tags on places and things to link them to the relevant Wikipedia articles. So, as you can see in the picture, you've got a link to Lower East Side that's in the Lower East Side. It would be amusing if they posted that picture into the Wikipedia article on Lower East Side ... heh. Anyway, I think that properly applied it's a pretty good idea. For example, it could be linked also into Wikitravel articles for tourists. Apparently there is substantial interest from around the globe -- check out the semapedia blog."
